1964 Austin-Healey 3000

Story and History

1964 Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII
BJ8 Phase II
Restored Condition

Finished in British Racing Green with black weather equipment in Mohair and Suede leather interior and dark green carpets - all in mint condition

Bumpers removed, mesh grill, driving lights, Le Mans filler, front wing vents, Moto-Lita steering wheel and chrome wire wheels finish off the ensemble, giving her a more racy look than normal. Although the Phase II is considered not only the most powerful version of the 3000, but also the most luxurious too

What a pretty example !

She also has a Dennis Welch uprated exhaust system so she sounds as good as she looks ........ and the 3 litre straight six engine spins up to the rev limiter without any fuss and pumps out some serious mid range torque too

Restored by Healey specialists where she was converted from LHD to RHD and only 10.000 miles since

Previous owner for 24 years

As a Phase II version she has the uprated rear chassis, increased power whilst retaining the earlier rear light treatment

An absolute cracker-jack and very good value too
