1978 Bentley T2 - full service history since new

It's nice to always have a T2 and this is more pleasing as we haven't had this example with us before

Last supplied by our friends at Frank Dale & Stepsons, to a mutual customer, she is now in our hands and for sale after we have carried out a fresh MoT and a complete check over and major service

The Dales gave her a service before sale and also a repaint in the original Shell Grey - since when she has covered a nominal mileage, and she still presents in crisp, sharp, lustrous condition

The interior is magnificent and completely original - never the subject of connolising the seats really do have the look of arm chairs in the reading room of a Gentleman's Club in St James's.

The fascia veneers are original whilst the door cappings have been repolished recently and are finished in a lovely soft hue and look rather delightful

In fact the interior is just what one would suggest is the ideal of a classic, traditional British motorcar

This is also the second series of the T2 with the slight revision to the air conditioning controls, automatic radio aerial and headlamp wash / wipers, making her quite the desirable thingy

There have been many owners over her life, which started when she was supplied through Grassicks of Perth, Scotland as evidenced by the original build sheets and test data in the history folder

There are service voucher booklets stamped appropriately and lots of bills and MoT's which run smoothly through her life to validate the mileage of 103.700 since new

The last owner, an aristocat (actually a Baron), spends most of the time out of the country, so during his tenure mileage has been limited to 2.500 in 5 years - he also has many other Bentley's here which again limit his opportunity to use this example

Offered for sale simply due to lack of use, here we have a fine opportunity to buy into T2 ownership, at a reasonable level and with an example which can hold its' head up in any company
