Story and History

2000 Range Rover Vogue 4.6 HSE - Holland and Holland

These late P38's are really fabulous cars and the Holland & Holland Edition, to us, is the ultimate version, so you can understand how pleased we are to have another with us so soon after our first ever example has found a new home

All were built by Land Rover Special Vehicles who collaborated with the famous London gunmaker Holland & Holland to determine the final specification of what was intended as the ultimate 'country' Range Rover

To ensure a fabulous, almost Rolls-Royce quality of build, the craftsmen at LRSV spent over thirty hours finishing these vehicles off. All were painted in a specially formulated colour, tintern green, the wheels & bumpers were specially colour coded and the interior was finished in dark tan with light tan piping

Door cards and armrests have a special texture to the leather, much like that offered by Louis Vuitton on thier Epi Cases or Handbags - difficult to explain but you'll know if you see it

All of the specially finished wood veneers were completed in a style to replicate the stock of a Holland & Holland shotgun and unique inlays to the door cappings repeat their iconic acanthus scroll engraving - truly specific detailing and almost unheard of attention to detail when these vehicles were launched

There are picnic tables, satellite navigation and an electric glass sunroof. A total of only 400 Holland & Hollands were built - 300 of these were destined for the North American market leaving just 100 UK market examples all priced at £63.500 - half as much again as a standard 4.6 Vogue HSE

Our lovely example has had only 3 previous private keepers and the car has been the personal transport of our M.D. recently. In 15 years it has covered just 79.500 miles

Complete with original features, a full service history, including a total of 12 stamps in the service book, all manuals and papers in the original leather wallet

She is in mint condition and our factory trained technicians will carry out a major service to include all oils (differentials, gearbox and engine etc.) as a matter of course, and the air suspension works like a treat.

Since acquisition, we have replaced the headlining, removed all the wood trim and had it refinished in our specialist restoration department to original specifications and upgraded the DVD system so this is all working perfectly

Therefore, totally ready for a weekend jaunt of shooting in Suffolk and equally at home on a trip to the Alps for some skiing with the family, parked outside the chalet of your choosing

A very fine motorcar and bound to attract much enthusiasm over the coming years as values rise on a consistent basis
