1978 Aston Martin V8 Volante LHD - Vantage Engine Upgrade

An unusual early edition of this elegant open 4 seater with a lovely tan interior piped in black. Fitted with an everflax hood, again in black to match the shiny paintwork.

The original GKN alloys are pleasingly still in place with the correct Avon tyres. We have just had the rims diamond polished and repainted she looks pin sharp now.

She has Vantage driving lights set into the grill and door mirrors on both sides.

This could be a clue to what lies under the bonnet - Yes she had a Vantage Engine upgrade within the last 5.000 miles by the Aston Dealer in Paris and subsequently RSWilliams upgraded the gearbox to the Quick Shift version to more suit the new driving charcteristics of the Vantage.

We have just given her a full service and balanced all 4 twin choke Weber 48IDA carburettors so she is running exceptionally well, with a lovely exhaust note and spirited acceleration too.

A very nice, original and unmodified Volante ready for some Continental touring.
