1972 BMW 2002 Tii - Huge Price Reduction

A snappy little example of these sought after early sports saloons and what's nice is that it is in such excellent condition

Quite expensive in period, as they were very well made and engineered, contemporary road testers loved the way these standard 2 door family saloons could be transformed with the uprated engine and handling that the Tii offered

The general public seemed to agree and therefore all future BMW small series cars were to enjoy a super fast model at the top of their range - the 2002 series, of course, being replaced by the 3 series

Much recent work has been carried out and she performs as well as she looks, with crisp acceleration, aided by the efficient Kugelfilscher fuel injection, sharp handling, made all the better with the 15" BBS Mahle type alloy wheels shod with grippy Michelin 195 / 50 tyres, a slick 4 speed gearbox and brakes which are well up to the mustard and can pull her down from high speeds with ease

The engine bay is in great shape, as is the interior where there are no rips, tears or cracks to the fascia paneling either

In fact the interior is so original that unlike most Tii's she still enjoys the original 3 spoke, steering wheel. There are also front seat belts and unusually rears too

Overall a very nice and tight example
