2000 Bentley Continental R Mulliner - 29.000 miles only
This particular car was originally registered to Bentley Motors and indeed the first two service stamps in the complete service history voucher booklet are from Bentley Motors Crewe - Press & VIP Centre.
A previous owner, who incidentally has bought this vehicle from us twice, so good is she, tells us that this was actually the Brochure vehicle.
The last owner, another very regular customer, who has probably bought over 20 cars from us in the last 20 years, treated her to £10.000 of hide and stereo upgrades upon his purchase (he does this with every car he buys & has done since we've known him)
Now where once there was only Cotswold hide there are now swathes of a super dark navy, contrasting nicely with the original interior
The stereo is as good as you can buy too and of studio quality
Mechanically the Continental R Mulliner, as I'm sure you all know, had the same specification as the 170Mph Continental T with 420bhp and 600ft/lbs of torque, the upgraded braking system, quick steering rack too, extended wheel arches and side skirts with huge alloy wheels and tyres to match.
Production figures for this model vary but I'm of the opinion that only 130 were made - very rare for the more modern Bentley
Performance is quite incredible for such a large vehicle and driving from say Lake Como to London in a single day can be completed without physical fatigue (I know as this journey has just been completed).
Serviced by our technicians prior to the last owner taking delivery, where we also replaced the brake accumulators and the gearbox oil and having been serviced again recently to ensure she drives as well as she looks.
This car is in superb cherished condition and has to be seen to be appreciated.
A very special Bentley and a thinking mans choice against a Brooklands or a Continental GT (thousands & thousands made!!!)
Interior pictures now updated to show the latest interior upgrades with dark blue hide to the centre console, door inserts and the touch screen sat/nav, stereo thingy-me-bob integrated within the central console - I like !!
