1957 Maserati 250F 1/8 scale
Here we have a wonderful, handmade, 1:8 scale model by popular and reputed model maker, Javan Smith. The model is of Juan Manuel Fangio's 1957 Monaco winning Grand Prix car the 250F #32. The year before, Sir Stirling Moss had done the same in a car numbered #28, such was the models dominance at the time. Fangio finished 1956 in his Ferrari a joint second. Javan Smith hand builds his models and you can tell here it is wonderfully put together. With such a fabulous scale, the interior becomes more visible and the exterior much more detailed. His pieces have sold before in auction for vast sums, making this even better value when compared. It is in excellent condition, comes with its Perspex screen and podium, presented wonderfully.
