1978 Bentley T2
You probably know that we hold the T2 in high esteem - and this example is no exception
We supplied it to the last owner 5 years ago - his second T2 actually, replacing his Firemist Green example
This is more elegantly finished in Brewster Green with Tudor red fine lines and the original tan interior, which benefits from picnic tables, a tan knee roll, leather covered steering wheel, lambswool over rugs, rear seat belts and the optional front seat headrests too
Externally she has electrically operated door mirrors, a Flying B mascot and Bentley lightweight alloy wheels (as fitted to the Continental DHC)
There is an enormous history file confirming copious amounts of maintenance throughout her life which includes details of her recent holiday in Australia
As with most trips to the Antipodean it is worth staying a while to make the most of the time difference. Of this, the T2 took clear advantage, enjoying the sunnier climes of Sydney for 2 years
Whilst her owner undertook some family matters the Bentley took advantage of the local coachbuilders and had a repaint so that her coachworks are now resplendant, straight and shiny too
Back here in her homeland now, she has had a thorough checkover and service and is running superbly
A wonderful example, which has been truly mollycoddled
