1986 Range Rover Classic 4 door - 48.000 miles only
A smashing example which we sold 5 years ago to a very decent chap in Hong Kong
It has resided there ever since amongst various other exotic classic cars (Aston Vantages and the like)
When supplied to our nice chap in HK total mileage was only 45.000 so very little use since then, although as with all of our customers' continuous maintenance has ensured that she is always in tip-top condition
Since our delivery the gearbox has been rebuilt and air conditioning fitted - naturally in the heat of HK this is almost a necessity
When we first bought her in 2009 she had recently returned from the Isle of Man, where she had spent all but the first 2 years of her life
As we all know only too well, early 4 door Range Rovers' in good solid condition are getting more and more difficult to find, and even more so with this deliciously low mileage!!
All the usual rust areas (Chassis, sills, inner front wings, top and bottom tailgate and inner rear wheel arches) are in excellent condition
Similarly she sits correctly on the road and we gave her a thorough check over and service together with a new application of Waxoil underneath prior to her departure to HK together with completely refurbishing the wooden door cappings
Finished in the original colour of Davos White with correct honey coloured "Teddy Bear" interior (including excellent - non sagging headlining) with automatic transmission, power steering, green tint sundym glass, original Rostyle wheels fitted with radial tyres
Excellent carpets were protected and kept in superb condition by brown over-rugs
She also has her correct Instruction Booklet, Service Schedule Booklet and original tools - all in all a fabulous example with a super specification and in lovely condition both cosmetically and mechanically
