The Series II Azure was based upon the Limited Production Brooklands Coupe - only 105 RHD were ever produced

The Azure II was also similarly very rare with only 131 having been made

This is one of the earlier versions, having produced in 2007 (2005 - 2009 - averaging only 32 each year)

These were hand made on a specific production line, against where the never Continental GT & GTC were built

The seminal 6.75 litre engine was hand made too, producing 451bhp giving the immense convertible an astonishing 0 - 60mph sprint of only 5.5 seconds - phew !

Top speed was an similarly astounding 170mph or thereabouts - more phew here too

Our special example has been serviced initially by Jack Barclay, thence to Bentley Surrey, and more recently by Bentley Hampshire - the full book pack includes the complete record of the more recent invoices from Bentley Hampshire, together with a full stamped service schedule booklet

Finished in the sumptuous Peacock Blue exterior with a dark blue hood, complimented by the beige (barley) full leather interior - carpets are dark blue as is the top toll

Chrome wheels, correct Pirreli 245 / 45 ZR 19 finish off the wheel action whilst the interior veneers and very dark burr walnut, with fully veneered door cappings, chrome instrument bezels and an interesting and rather elegance touch of having the traditional Bentley mesch grill rather than the matrix, which we have always found somewhat gauche

The milometer was updated at 33.000, hence the speedometer show 6.576 miles, making the overall mileage of just under 40.000 - and if you looked closely you would believe that the 6.500 shown is actually correct for this beauty is in mint condition for sure

We first set eyes upon this glamorous Azure II nearly ten years ago, always kept in first class condition

A very rare motor car, in first class condition, and a super alternative to an Aston V8 Vantage Volante from the 1980's for a third of the price, better put together, and actually faster too
