It's not often that you will see two WSM's for sale at one location, and yet here in Battersea we have just that

One of the original 14 race cars and this, one of the Series 2 versions, sitting side by side in our Garages

I'll not go into the WSM story, you can read about that on our other WSM script, so below is the details on this the Series 2 GT version

Douglas's son Anthony and his good chum and Paul Woolmer, who has extensive technical knowledge of the Healey marque, decided to build a Series 2, in either road form (GT) or competition form (Sprint)

Our version is one of the GT versions, fitted with an MG F 4 cylinder engine, 5 speed gearbox and trimmed as though it came out of the Bentley factory!!

Only 2750 miles have been driven, so she is in top shape

Having driven her on the road, to say the performance is effective, is rather an understatement - the MG F engine can spin up to 7.500 rpm, at which point a noise is, well let's just say it's quite loud, whilst the acceleration is rapido

Beautifully put together, and in immaculate condition, this is a great interpretation of the original race car, and you can feel this when sitting and driving this Srs 2 on the road

Much more a racing car for the road, or even a great track day car - actually this is where she will excel, one that you can drive there and back in comfort
