1993 Range Rover Vogue Auto
A truly excellent example, owned by a good chum, who has, as is his normal want, lavished enormous amounts of time, energy and limitless sums of his hard earned "dosh" on making this car supreme
He tells me well over 30.000 have been spent, painting, polishing, detailing and simply maintaining her to super top standards - as you would hope and, maybe expect, from a chap who likes things to be British and best - he's done this to an Aston Martin V8 too, giving that a whacking great 7.0 litre engine from our friends at RS Williams
She runs like a train and spins along at 90mph with consumate ease - unlike many others - and together with the extensive history file there are many photos of the restoration works carried out, both before and after
He is the fourth owner and took her over in 2009 at around 50.000 miles and she is now up to 68.000
Very handily the first owner opted for an electric sunroof and factory air conditioning which makes this a comfortable cockpit in which to sit, in any weather
Whilst she was being repainted he took the opportunity to use the paint in the gun to upgrade the wheels too and very smart they make her look too - oh and also fitted with brand new tyres too
A real "cream puff" representing great value in comparison to his expenditure
