6.0 V12

27,000 miles

Established in 1896, Coventry England, the Daimler Motor Company was at the forefront of development during the earliest period of the motorcar

A firm favourite of the British upper classes Daimler's of all eras have chauffeured the more subtle section of the elite for generations. Ambassadors, prime ministers even King Charles III have all enjoyed their refined nature

The Double Six is one of the most infamous Daimler's with the manufacture first using the monica during the inter-war years for their Sports Saloon of the time, so called because of their impressively smooth V12 engine, with examples of these cars now fetching many millions and winning Pebble Beach Best in Show awards providing great providence to the name & marque

The car we have here is the very last iteration of the Double Six featuring a velvet smooth 6.0litre V12 capable of quite serious performance with minimal fuss

First released in 1994 the LWB model, as we have here, known internally as the X330 Majestic was to be the flag bearer for the Double Six's proud heritage as a luxurious sports saloon

Producing 315BHP and capable of 155MPH the performance figures certainly stacked up and only 1230 of these sports saloons were ever to be produced making them a very rare car indeed

Luxury too was in abundance with sumptuous leather, lambswool over-mats, cruise control, electric seats, electric windows, electric mirrors, heated seats, privacy blinds, rear picnic tables, finely veneered and polished wood to all door cards, centre console, dash, instrument binnacle and steering wheel, air conditioning, sound deadening material and more all mean that even by today's standards the LWB Double Six is a truly luxury grand touring sports saloon

Our car was supplied new to Japan and had only one owner who regularly kept her serviced by the main dealer before her second keeper recently returned her to the UK

Naturally all the original books remain with the car as well as the service book validating the regular main dealer servicing and her super low mileage

In totally original condition her Topaz Gold paint is near immaculate with no blemishes, scuffs or scraps and is a truly fitting colour for such a majestic motorcar. Inside too she is in wonderful condition, the original over-mats showing next to no signs of age and only very slight wear to the drivers seat bolster

We're quite amazed at just how complete and capable a car she is, a real peach
