Special cars come in all shapes and sizes and this series III Land Rover is certainly proof of that

Having just been completely restored and adorned with the benefit of a Rover 3.5litre V8 & 4 speed automatic gearbox her behaviour belies her appearance and never fails to leave you smiling

The quality of the restoration is simply marvelous too, much better finishing than she would have had leaving the factory. We're quite taken by her it must be said!

In total over £40,000 has been lavished on her with LR projects, Cotswold Motor Services and finally Exmoor trim who trimmed the car in beautifully supple hides and brand new hoods

The bikini hood remains in its box completely unused!

Aside from the obvious upgraded performance she also features sports bucket seats to the front which are extremely comfortable and even heated

These early Land Rovers are becoming ever more desirable and especially the cut away wing cars such as this are commanding an attractive premium

The characteristics of our car are really quite surprising as she shoots of the line with genuine alacrity and continues accelerating to an even alarming top speed

The added bonus of power steering means that if one was so inclined she could even be used as an every day car

A far cry from the sluggish diesel with soggy cloth seats she's sure to be a hit on any shoot and can be used quite comfortably on the road during the off season too

Overall a great car and great value for money!
