Story and History

1965 Gordon Keeble
Fully restored condition

This is the fourth GK was have offered for sale in the last 4 years and even more unusually this is one of last examples built - being chassis number 097 of the 99 produced by the factory in Southampton in period

Most of those cars are still on the road as many enthusiasts keep their GK's for many years, with a very active Club Membership it encourages regular usage

Our current version has been completely restored by a specialist in Lincolnshire over a period of a few years at which point we were asked assess any outstanding works and then complete these to our satisfaction - hence you have a very fine example indeed

Finished in a lovely colour combination of gunmetal with deep red hides throughout the quality of the paintwork and trim is outstanding, whilst the underside, as you would expect, is as shiny at the top

The C2 Corvette 327cu/in V8 has been fully rebuilt, idles with the distant throb we all enjoy and wails through the twin exhausts when the throttles have been opened fully - crackling and popping on the overrun

One of the most expensive GT's in period, very accelerative with supreme high speed touring ability (on the chassis plate there is a note "Tyre Pressures Above 130MPH & Upwards" ......... blimey me thinks) with one of the most elegant designs to come out of Bertone in period, and there are a few from which to chose

Ready for running in now and thereafter to be enjoyed to the fullest !!!
