2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe

Story and History

11,800 miles from new
6 service stamps
Very high specification

These Coupes are the best. Hosting a V12 engine which could be mistaken for being completely silent and yet pushes out 460bhp and so much torque that the mid range acceleration is mind boggling.

When BMW started to created the New Phantom in 1999, they took their task very seriously and looked at the history of the marque, spoke with owners, collectors, dealers and the RREC too, to truly understand what they had to create as a new model series.

Led my Karl Heinz Kalbfell who had previously been in charge of BMW F1 he built a great team around him - he was a very strong character and perfect for the roll of Project Manager. Director of his design team was Ian Cameron, a highly intellectual yet modest man.

Ian set up his design studio just of off Hyde Park, in what previously was a Bank. Ian and his young team quickly rolled up their sleeves and began to create the first new Phantom for over 40 years

And what a magnificent job they did

The new generation of Phantom's were a huge success, and were highly acclaimed by the motoring press, dealers and most importantly the customer's. Once again Rolls-Royce Motor Cars produced the pinnacle of luxury in motoring

Ian retired from Rolls-Royce in 2012 after securing the foundations of the new brand. During his tenure he launched the Phantom Saloon, Drop Head and Coupe plus the new Ghost and the Wraith both Coupe and Drop Head variants

Our beautiful car is of course the rare and now very much desired Coupe. Like most Coupes she has a great specification with lovely Starlight headlining that makes for a wonderful atmosphere on evening journeys, front and rear cameras for easy parking, lovely exposed exhausts and the usual stylish and extensive amounts of high quality leather.

Having travelled only 11,800 miles from new, she presents impeccably well and throughout her life has always been looked after by the main dealers. 6 stamps in total all at Rolls-Royce, the most recent at just below 10,945 miles.

Darkest Tungsten paintwork was optioned even on the bonnet, which is unusual and nice, as is the elegant choice of no coach line, or no logo in the headrests creating a nice understated environment. The larger 21” part polished 7 spokes are a hit too!

Recently valeted by Rolls-Royce and impeccably polished by their team she is ready for a new owner to benefit from the luxurious specification chosen from new, and now becoming ever more desirable.
