2016 Land Rover Defender 110 - Heritage Edition - ONLY 168 miles!!
Described by Land Rover as 'the most versatile vehicle in the world' the Defender holds legendary status for many if not all motoring enthusiasts.
It is appropriate then that to mark the end of its' gargantuan, 68 year, production run Land Rover released three variations as run-out specials. The Heritage, Adventure and Autobiography, Top Gear magazine rightly describes The Heritage as 'by far the best'.
Unveiled at Red Wharf Bay, where Maurice Wilks first sketched the original drawings for the Defender, the 400 Heritage's produced featured:
Grasmere green paint
Contrasting white roof
Body coloured steel wheels
Almond upholstery
Removable seat covers
'HUE 166' Badges - paying tribute to the first ever production Defender
Limited Edition book detailing the press release for the car (it was very impressive, you can find it on youtube)
Our car is in truly immaculate condition, with only one owner and mileage that could be walked in a day or two - we think she is second to none!
The new Defender is most probably going to be an amazing feat of engineering, much like its ancestor, but the signs are that the iconic box shape will unfortunately become a thing of the past!
We think this car is the best example of the last example's of 'the most versatile vehicle in the world'
