1980 Bentley T2 with only 51.150 miles since new
Marvelous condition

A very fine example of these highly specified luxury saloons

Delivered in September 1980, so a late example, she was ordered through Lex Mead of Manchester, with a host of enhancements over and above her normal factory features

Such special requirements (factory term) include, front seat headrests (rear seat headrests were standard - expecting most owners to be Chauffeured, of course!!), internally adjustable door mirrors, veneered picnic tables to the rear of each front seat, black hide to the top roll, knee roll & radio surround, Kangol safety belts to the rear seat

On top of this she features bi-level climate controlled air conditioning, sundym glass all around, Blue Spot Frankfurt radio with electric aerial, separate cassette player with 4 speakers, cruise control, central door locking and finally electric windows and electric front seats

All of that when new BMW or Mercedes didn't even offer a radio as standard equipment.........having said that, the Bentley was very expensive indeed

Finished in a rare colour called Cardinal Red, and very smart she looks too in the sunshine

The history folder is brimming with invoices, original instruction manual, service voucher booklet and general correspondence

Correct small and large tools are housed in the boot compartment with a battery cut out switch for peace of mind when in storage

The last owner is a very nice German chap, who purchased her here in 2006 and brought her back to his home near Bremen, at which point she had travelled only 34.000 miles

Since then servicing has been carried out by renowned people specialists in his local area and the mileage has now just pipped over 51.000

The interior is amazing looking almost like new and she drives as though we have gone back to 1985 - the only noise you can hear is the ticking of the clock, even after 30 years on the road

Paintwork is very sharp with the original and unusual twin fine lines above the chrome moulding with single below

The pretty rings on the wheel discs show twin fine lines - a lot of thought went in the original choices of this car
