205 miles only

*** Revised Price ***

This little beauty comes with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate of Authenticity, another from the MGC Car Club Register inspection record & confirmation that the car corresponds to the original factory records

Immaculately restored to a condition probably better than it was when new by the Carn Bosavery Garage in Penzance Cornwall

Restoration commenced in 2017 and was completed in June 2018, since when only 205 miles have been driven to check all is well

We have driven 20 of those miles and can confirm everything works perfectly, from the heating and ventilation to the electric overdrive

She has been updated with larger chrome wire wheels, cloth soft top, cream leather piped burgundy everywhere, including door cards

A MotoLita wood rimmed steering wheel has been added which matches rather nicely with the burr walnut fascia and door cappings

Electric power steering has been fitted to ease parking stress and all inner cavities have been WaxOiled to ensure longevity

Very smart mirrors adorn the front wings and whilst we don't normally think they add to the look of a sports car these are rather more than acceptable

When stripped back to its bare shell there was zero corrosion found throughout, happily - probably as she had originally been delivered to the US in a dry state

The chassis has been prepared and coated in Gravitex stone chip underneath as well as the boot floor, floor panels and under arches

Mechanically everything has been covered - poly bushed suspension / new leaf springs / over hauled engine, gearbox & rear axle

The carburettors were overhauled too and new K&N air filters fitted

New bumpers smarten her up at both ends and of course all bright work has been replaced and new lights finish off the outside

She starts on the button, has a soft and smooth gear change - brakes pull up straight as an arrow and handling is pin sharp

The engine has lots of low down torque and she sounds really quite sporty and 60's ish

The restoration has been completely photographed and the invoice for the restoration is with these as well - £38.000 (plus the cost of the car)

Offered at £27.500 giving the new owner a complete bargain in our eyes
