1973 Rolls-Royce 2 door saloon Immaculate condition
We really do like these 2 door saloon's, as they were known in the factory - under stated and really rather nice to own and drive
This cracker has been kept for the last 6 years by her famous owner, and indeed we took her back to bare metal for him before repainting in her original colour of Garnet in 2016
Obviously the paintwork is still immaculate whilst the interior is in lovely original condition - no connolising to the leather work thankfully, and only a new set of over carpets are the change from original
Only 5 owners since new, and looking through the history folder we found an invoice from Jack Alpe Ltd selling her to the third owner in 1983 - with hand written notes on the invoice by my, later to become, business partner !!
She had only 35.471 miles at that time after 10 years and thereafter she has only accrued another 20.000 miles - 55.500 miles overall
Much service work was carried out by the London Service Centre in the 1980's and then by our friends at P & A Wood (the London Service Centre was closed by the factory in the mid 1990's hence the change to P & A)
Her fourth owner purchased her in 1999 and kept her until 2012, when our famous car collector took ownership
Whilst we can't verify the ownership or service details prior to 1983, my ex business partner has verified the mileage as correct at that time
So, a very smart Corniche Coupe which has been looked after better than most and in the most delightful colour combination too
