1994 Land Rover Defender 300Tdi with only 86.000 miles
A cracker which happily came to us in part exchange for our Moto Guzzi Daytona from chum, customer and serial collector of all things good - currently big into his motorbikes with the most enourmous collection of Ducati's and similar
Anyhow he, and his lovely wife, (it was actually her Defender) found the Defender brilliant as they could transport some of their bikes here and there on the estate in Soctland
They fitted an adjustable tow bar and hey presto, perfect
They also fitted a special heater system in the cab, which you can turn-on, 20 minutes before using the car, and the interior is toasty warm when you hop in (perfect for those freezing winter mornings next to the Loch)
They have many other Range Rover's and etc so the Defender was under-utilized and hence the exchange for the Moto Guzzi
Purchased from another old chum of theirs, who was only the second keeper and the mileage is now only 86.000 miles in 25 years
Must be one of the lowest mileage Defender of this age
She is one toughest looking we have seen for a long time and has been fitted with many extras:-
Off road springs
Freestyle wheels
Bull bar to front
Lamp guards
Chequer plate to front wing tops
Reversing camera
Lambswool seat covers
3 front seats each with full seat belts
Fold down rear seats (making this a 7 seater)
Door steps to all 3 doors
Spare wheel cover
Mud flaps
Sun roof
Adjustable tow hitch (as mentioned above)
Special interior heater (ditto)
Original period DEFENDER side decals
Never restored and in original condition this is one of the best
