1978 Bentley T2 - 89.000 miles only

Another smashing T2 arrives here for sale in Kensington

We've not had this one with us before, although she was originally supplied by our great friend Douglas Green, of Hadley Green Garage, Herts

Douglas retired from his business only last year when sold his interests completely

When he supplied chassis 35063 in October 1978 he had already been an official franchised dealer for Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars since 1965 and had an enviable reputation for his superb service department

The original owner kept this super T2 until the mid 1990's at which point just under 80.000 miles had been traveled, whilst wearing the original cherished number plate of YLY 1

Only 3 further keepers have enjoyed her since and covered a further, nominal, 10.000 miles in this period

Subsequently she has had only a further 3 owners and has recently had a suspension rebuild and various other items sorted (�5.000) by the very nice people at Frank Dale & Stepsons, who have known her for a few years now having supplied her to the last two keepers

Since our tenure we have serviced the air conditioning and generally checked everything over, so all is now "ship shape and Bristol fashion"

Still finished to the original specification of black exterior with sumptuous red hide interior, which has not been spoiled by over zealous leather restoration (thankfully)

Complete with original book pack, large and small tools, un-restored original wood veneers, original lambswool over rugs, factory supplied Blaupunkt FM / AM radio with separate Pioneer 8 Track player this low mileage, low ownership T2 is exceptional on the road and presented in honest, original, unmolested condition
