1977 Jaguar XJ 5.3L - 21.000 miles only

Another remarkable 12 cylinder Jaguar finds its' way to our showrooms - this beauty with only 21.265 miles since new

The first owner, from Devon, bought her from his local dealership, Evans & Cutler Ltd, Totnes and continued to enjoy her all the way through until 2010

He kindly wrote a letter confirming his tenure and usage for the history file which includes the original and complete book pack and instruction manual

As you can see the car came specified in the lovely (curiously named as it's actually green not grey) Fern Grey with oatmeal hide interior

On the extras front the following boxes were ticked - black everflex roof covering, chrome pressed steel wheels, drivers internally adjustable door mirror and the best of the lot is the climate controlled air conditioning

There was also a radio / 8 track player with 4 speakers - this has recently been updated for a modern unit with new speakers, the original radio / 8 track unit is kept with the car and can be seen in picture of the boot and contents therein

This cat can still purr along at a snails pace and with a stab on the throttle will fly up to highly illegal speeds in no time at all

Still almost unmarked and in original, un-molested condition she is a truly unusual find
