1972 Porsche 2.4 S Targa LHD
As sweet to look at as she is to drive this little Porsche brings a smile to the face of both drivers and onlookers too
Originally supplied to Sweden there is a nice history trail of ownership and a comprehensive survey carried out prior to a change of ownership in 2007 - valueing her at 65.000 Euros as she is in such good fettle adds to that feeling of well being
Since importation to the UK in 2008, where she was sold to her last owner by Gregor Fisken, she has been used by a London based car collector
He had her thoroughly checked over and serviced by AutoFarm in May 2009, who could only find 3.000 to spend
Her Targa Top could do with a tidy up otherwise she is in really super condition - in fact the underside is so clean we will photograph her next week on a ramp - she really is in remarkably clean condition
A fortune must have been spent on her in recent years to ensure she is in this condition - I'm sure there cannot be another Targa 2.4S in this condition available
The 2.4 S version 911's are very sought after as they have 190bhp, 5 gears and drive extremely well - the very last of the original 911 before the heavy 5mph impact bumpers of the G Series cars
