1975 Jensen Interceptor III Convertible LHD
This super lovely Jensen has only had one family ownership since new, as evidenced by the Californian registration document and also from research by renowned Jensen expert Richard Calver - whose assessment of the vehicle is that it presents extremely well and is highly authentic
Prior to Mr and Mrs Ford taking ownership in 1977 it had been used as a dealer demonstrator wearing appropriate plates - in the US in those days the dealers didn't need to register their own cars, their dealer plates being sufficient for the authorities
The 50.000 miles covered have left this Convertible in tip top shape and she still cuts a dash burbling through the streets of Knightsbridge
The Jensen Statement of Origin confirms that she remains true to factory specification, save for the deletion of a gold coach line and a change of the radio to the current, albeit still period, Alpine unit
Only 500 odd convertibles were produced by the West Bromwich factory and one would have thought that it would be difficult to find another in such highly original condition
NB Pictures only with hood up so far as began raining whilst photography in progress
PS The hood has new hydraulic rams and works beautifully
