1971 Fiat 500L - the "Sacla Pesto Sauce Car" - under 21.000 miles since new
A great pleasure to have this complete gem back with us again - she puts a smile on the face of everyone who sees her
Incredibly she has travelled less than 21.000 miles since new in October 1971 when she was supplied to Miss M.C.Farren of Aylesbury
The original Document Wallet is still here with Service Voucher booklet / Instruction Manual / Fiat Dealers & Service Stations in the UK & Fiat's own booklet on "(Safe Motoring Hints)" - she also retains her correct tool kit too
Sitting pretty on Abarth Alloy wheels she also has a few Abarth Badges for fun on her flanks together with an expensive Momo steering wheel
There were only 2 owners until 2003 at which point she was used as the Sacla Pesto Sauce car in their advertising and promotional purposes - the total number of owners now is 6 - the last two of whom we are very well connected and hence we have known her now for quite a few years
The previous family let her share garage space with an AC Cobra, Ferrari, Willy's Jeep and a Rolls-Royce Phantom, how lucky was she?
The last owner was another man of substance, being involved with F1 and previously, before the children arrived, a keen Polo player
He kept her for 5 years, added another 500 miles and spent just under £2.000 keeping her in tip top shape
A really nice example, having a comprehensive history and maintained in super condition
