1971 Fiat 500L - UK supplied & 21.000 miles only
A great pleasure to have this complete gem back with us again - she puts a smile on the face of everyone who sees her
Incredibly she has travelled just over 21.000 miles since new in October 1971 when she was supplied to Miss M.C.Farren of Aylesbury
The original Document Wallet is still here with Service Voucher booklet / Instruction Manual / Fiat Dealers & Service Stations in the UK & Fiat's own booklet on "(Safe Motoring Hints)" - she also retains her correct tool kit too
Sitting pretty on Abarth Alloy wheels she also has, since the last owner updated her, a new 650cc engine and synchromesh gearbox to suit, giving her a little more pep for acceleration against the more athletic of our bicycle users in town nowadays
The original units come with the car, of course
There were only 2 owners until 2003 at which point she was used as the Sacla Pesto Sauce car in their advertising and promotional purposes - the total number of owners now is 7 - many of whom we have 'supplied to her' and hence we have known her now for quite a few years
A previous family let her share garage space with an AC Cobra, Ferrari, Willy's Jeep and a Rolls-Royce Phantom, how lucky was she?
Another was a man of substance, being involved with F1 and previously, before the children arrived, a keen Polo player
They kept her for 5 years, added another 500 miles and spent just under £2.000 keeping her in tip top shape
The last family, again have lavished time and funds keeping her in, again tip top shape
She was invited to the Goodwood Revival 60th Anniversary Celebrations in 2017 where she tooled around the circuit for all to see and enjoy - no incidents and no lap records either
Fun for all the family and if you're game you can just about squeeze 5 of you inside ......... can't promise you'll get out easily though
