1998 Bentley Brooklands 'R' Mulliner - 32.000 miles only
The most pleasant special edition, built especially for the run out of the 'SZ" series of Bentley's immediately prior to the launch of the Arnage
Only 100 were produced and this example is number "007" so should suit any aspiring James Bonds'!!!
Having supplied this example to the last two owners we know her well and can say that she drives and handles just as finely as she looks
These last of line 'R' Mulliner models had very many special features not seen on any other versions which makes them both more attractive and also potentially more collectable
Twin tone leather interior finished on Pebble & Sand, specially designed gear lever together with unique 18" alloy wheels set these examples aside from the pack which along with a whole host of factory fitted extras really did 'gild the lilly' - chrome instrument bezels, hide headlining & rear parcel shelf, split hide top roll, red starter button to fascia, magazine nets to rear of front seats, perforated hide to steering wheel, dark stained walnut veneers with fully veneered door cappings, engraved plaque to centre console (each vehicle was numbered thus), colour coded bumpers, rear quarter badges, front wing vents, stainless steel mesh to grill and front bumper appertures, massive single exhaust tail pipe - the list is enormous ( and I've probably missed a few bits and pieces too )
Number 007 also has a very recently fitted touch screen sat / nav and stereo system with high quality speakers together with a new DVD player and large screens to the rear of the front seat headrests too
In essence there's not much missing from the options list on 007 and with 325 bhp from the turbo charged engine she flies along in complete comfort
As the colour is not clear to see over the internet I should let you know that it's a mix of very dark green and black depending on the light - in the sunshine it is clearly green but not quite so when it's overcast, officially known as Black Emerald
Well there you have it - a great car and in our humble opinion the best of the SZ' cars
