1969 Mercedes Benz 280SL - Restored condition
Another of these wonderful, beautifully executed Mercedes coupe / convertibles
Restored at very great expense over the last 3 years, she now presents and performs precisely as they were meant to do in the day
A fortune has been spent on new leather seats, head rests, door cards, dash board top and lower section, interior wood work, carpets, hard top refurbishment, brightwork, badges, bare metal paintwork preparation to concours standard, gear box overhaul, tyres, brakes, injection system.......the list goes on and on
All invoices are within the history folder and the quality of the works are evidenced by the quality of the vehicle presentation
The Pagoda also has an amazing specification for a car of the period, finished in the sensational Pimento Red metallic complimented by the black hide seats, to include head rests, shaded tinted windscreen, side windows, plus hard top glass, white band tyres, new soft top in black mohair, dual door mirrors, full tool kit and a wonderfully prepared engine bay to concours condition too
Original Becker radio with electric aerial, power steering and automatic transmission complete the package, which even though I say so myself, seems to be 'top of the pops' from where I'm sitting presently
One of the very best we have had the pleasure to put up for sale in our showrooms (the largest Classic Car showrooms in Central London remember) and a Pagoda fully deserving of serious consideration
