2000 Bentley Continental R Mulliner - 23.000 miles ONLY
This particular car was originally registered to Bentley Motors and indeed the first two service stamps in the complete service history voucher booklet are from Bentley Motors Crewe - Press & VIP Centre.
I have been advised by the previous owner, from whom we bought the car, then resupplied it to him and have yet again the pleasure of selling her (!!!), that this was actually the Brochure vehicle.
Finished in the best colour combination of Black Sapphire with Cotswold main hide with Dark Blue secondary hide interior. Highly figured burr walnut veneers and dark blue lambswool over rugs complete the luxurious interior. Sensibly there are also audible and visual rear parking sensors.
Mechanically the Continental R Mulliner had the same specification as the 170Mph Continental T with 420bhp and 600ft/lbs of torque, the upgraded braking system, quick steering rack too, extended wheel arches and side skirts with huge alloy wheels and tyres to match.
Performance is quite incredible for such a large vehicle and driving from say Lake Como to London in a single day can be completed without physical fatigue (I know as this journey has just been completed).
Serviced by our technicians last year, we also replaced the brake accumulators and the gearbox oil to ensure she drives as well as she looks.
This car is in superb cherished condition and has to be seen to be appreciated.
A very special Bentley and a thinking mans choice against a Brooklands or a Continental GT (thousands & thousands made!!!)
