1994 Range Rover LSE 6.3 litre by Overfinch
There's no pretending that this is anything but a Monster
Originally 5.7 litres of Chevrolet fuel injected high performance engine with suspension and brakes to match
At the time of the Conversion, carried out during the first owners tenure, the car was also completely repainted and retrimmed too (Bentley Verdant Green with Ash Grey Leather)
Speaking with Overfinch they remember the car because there was so much done - 40.000 worth of upgrades
The 570 HSi was the top engine upgrade at the time, giving approx 320BHP
The following were also incorporated into the upgrade: 2nd generation Air Suspension / Precision Steering Conversion / Quick Ratio Steering Box / 5 Special Tyres / Vented Brake Conversion including cross Drilled Discs / Special Rear Discs & Pads / High Mounted Stop Lamp / Touring Capacity Fuel Tank / Xenon Headlighting System / Padded Door Armrests / Secondary Door Seals / Burr Walnut Trim Kit / Special Sound Proofing / Light Smoke Tinted Glass
The car was a very late and rare HSE 4.2 originally with the Soft Dash incorporating Twin Air Bags
She has absolutely no badging or external indication that she is anything other than a standard LSE Range Rover - but when you start her it's difficult to hide the sound of a custom free flow manifold and stainless exhaust system
I'm not sure yet how many were produced by Overfinch (it's been suggested to me about 10 570HSi); but it can't be too many, and it can only be expected that there wont ever be very many available on the Classic LWB
The car is in absolutely immaculate condition and represents a real opportunity
We have just changed the engine and fitted a fully balanced and honed 6.3 litre Chevrolet engine. She is fully run in and producing 400bhp approx and Soooo much torque it's almost embarrassing!!!!
This must be the only one to this specification anywhere in the World
