1992 Alfa Romeo SZ Coupe - 16.500 miles ONLY
The SZ is a great piece of 1980 /90's design and whilst not in the pretty catagory (well it is known as the "Monster" in some european countries and this cannot be ignored) the sharp design by Zagato certainly turns heads where ever you go
A lovely rasp is emitted from the exhausts as the 3 litre V6 spins up through the gears quickly and easily (there is a Superchip performance ECU fitted, which does help here admittedly - the original ECU is with the history file and can be refitted for those who wish to drive more sedately to the local "noggin and natter") balancing well with the harmonious handling helped with the fitment of the correct and nowadays rare to find Pirelli P-Zero tyres
This chap is in immaculate condition and has covered a mere 16.500 miles since new
The original tan leather book pack accompanies the history and the service booklet shows the original owner as being the supplying Alfa dealer in Belgium, who was obviously no fool
She was brought to the UK in January 1998 and has one owner since July of that year who has kept meticulous records
Cosmetically she is pin sharp having had her split rims alloys refurbished recently (850) and the usual problems associated with this model (corrosion to the roof panel and A pillars, lifting lacquer to spoiler and lifting dash top) are not present
More over mechanically everything is on the button having had a cam belt change recently and with the suspension still raising and lowering correctly
All in all an example in this condition does not come along very frequently and will become harder to find as times goes on
