1992 Range Rover CSK - Just finished complete restoration
A remarkable version of these, very rare Range Rovers
Only 200 were produced and it is suggested that less than 100 survive now
This example is number 99 and has had just two owners from new
The second owner bought her only a year or so ago and at that stage the first owner had traveled just 50.000 miles
Wanting the ultimate version of a CSK he knew he had a sound basis from which to start
He sent her a a specialist restoration business in Scotland and they set to work
A full schedule of all that was undertaken is held within the file, including a CD with images of all stages of work, which included but is not exclusive to:-
Body strip and repaint
Engine strip and rebuild
Gearbox strip and rebuild
Transfer box and differential strip and rebuild
Suspension rebuilt and also uprated
Brakes rebuilt
Wheels refurbished & new tyres
Stainless steel exhaust & headers
New head, side, spot and indicator lenses and lights
New headlining in nappa hide
New door cards in perforated nappa leather
Seats retrimmed in perforated nappa leather
Arm rests, centre console, dashtop roll, dash knee roll, instrument binnacle and even steering column in leather
Spare wheel cover in leather
Luggage deck cover in leather
Top quality carpets have been used throughout
Moto Lita steering wheel (original comes too)
Stainless gearbox & transfer box knobs (original come too)
Uprated stereo & speakers with i.Pod connectivity
Telephone bluetooth
In essence, as you can see, we have a refurbished to better than new standards CSK with manual gears
I have driven her a little and can confirm that whilst she is "run in" her drive is truly amazing
As close to a new one as you are likely to come - and with the most sumptuous interior & specification
