2003 Ferrari 575M

Story and History

2003 Ferrari 575M Maranello - Fiorano handling pack

Here we have a wonderfully presented Ferrari 575 Maranello, with F1 gearbox and finished beautifully in Argento Nurburgring with Burgundy interior (including the rear parcel in hide too) in RHD with the full Fiorano handling pack, red brake calipers, large 19” wheels, and a sports exhaust.

First registered in 2003 she hosts a beautifully put together V12 5.7L engine that pulls extraordinarily quickly and tops at just over 200mph.

There is a little confusion with the 575M about the Fiorano handling pack - now although Ferrari introduced suspension modifications in to the 575M, the need for the new and modified "Fiorano handling pack" option was an significance upgrade - hence Ferrari listed this as a £17.000 cost option for the initial buyers. Of course the bonus was the idyllically handling balance, both with slow comfort and high speed performance.

The majority of these 575M was not delivered with this exceptional factory fitted extra - ours has and this should be bourne in mind.

Our example has an extensive history file, with records of various works, many M.O.Ts, service papers, and the original Service Booklet with 13 stamps. She has done just over 60,500 miles from new, and has had 5 previous owners. She had been treated to a cam-belt service in the last few months and a renewed clutch too.

Built in low numbers of just over 2,000, the 575M were a much-improved version of the 550 Maranello. As well as the engine being bigger, the brake disks are too, and the front end was changed with prettier headlamps - the overall look of the car has changed little for the better, much testimony to the Pininfarina original 550 design.

We have had many of these before, and this one is a lovely example.
