1984 Aston Martin Volante to Prince of Wales 6.3 Vantage Specification
A simply stunning example of these, the most elegant versions of the powerful Volante to Vantage specification
Very few made in period, or indeed converted by the Factory, as was this example, the Volante Vantage to Prince of Wales specification remains the Holy Grail of this type of Aston Martin V8
All bills from period (1990) are on file showing the extent of the works carried out and evidencing conversion to exact PoW specification - very expensive it was too
The standard Vantage front spoiler was a specific choice of the previous owner, which we can easily replace with the standard Volante (PoW) front spoiler should the new owner prefer - although having been built to this body and mechanical specification we believe this example may even be unique
After this you would have thought that enough was enough but the fastidious owner decided to have the factory upgrade the engine from the standard 5.3 to 6.3 litres giving a huge upgrade in power output
Originally supplied to Jersey she returned to the mainland and her second owner a year later, whose (famous) name still appears in the log book
A host of special features include the Nardi wood rim steering wheel, Ronal wheels, over riders to front and rear bumpers, head rest cushions, Blaupunkt Cascade stereo giving classic looks with modern comforts (i.Pod connectivity / sat nav / blue tooth phone etc etc), 5 speed manual gears, sports exhaust etc etc
As with most low ownership vehicles this example has always been correctly looked after as evidenced by the superb cosmetic condition together with the driving experience, which as you could imagine is truly amazing
A wonderful opportunity to buy a truly excellent example which is presented in what we consider to be the very best colours
