1958 Jaguar XK150 3.4 roadster - 3.000 miles since body off restoration
A really snappy, early 150 roadster here which started life in New York, as evidenced by the Heritage certificate, as a carmen red roadster in LHD
She was brought back here to the UK in the early 1990's, at which point she was completely restored, to better than new condition, and finished in Ferrari Rosso Corsa with lovely tan hide interior with red carpets and black mohair weather equipment including a full tonneau
Sparkling chrome work and wire wheels finish off the ensemble
One Graham McKay owned the Jaguar at this stage and had many specialists from his neck of the woods, Blairgowrie, Scotland complete the intensive overhaul and much of this was by our good friends at Classic Restorations, Alyth, Scotland
There is a full folder of estimates, quotes and indeed the actual invoices for the works undertaken together with some photographs of the works too plus the original Jaguar operating, maintenance and service handbook
Mr McKay kept the XK until 2003 when ownership passed to David Mackay of Dunfermline - mileage now in total since the restoration has accumulated to just 3.000
As you would expect the condition is very much reflecting the limited use since the restoration and she looks, as you can see in the pictures, and as one of our regular customers loves to exclaim, "simply gooorgeous"
