A fantastic example which has the benefit of an AC Stage III engine upgrade producing 350BHP
Originally blue with red leather interior, 2 years ago the owner requested we update her to 1960's period specification
We stripped her to bare metal, then repainted her in black.
At the same time we stripped her interior and fitted a 1960's dash with period Smiths instrumentation. Wilton Carpets bound in black hide compliment her new black hide seats - we also fitted 4 point Luke harnesses, fire extinguisher, period steering wheel, gearlever and a starter button
Externally we made a LeMans type petrol filler whilst also preparing her for a roll hoop and bracing bar. She runs on 15" Halibrand with 3 eared spinners & raised letter Goodyear Eagles. There are wind wings / tinted sun visors / chromed sharks gills & a bonnet scoop
Exterior lighting was upgraded to correct period style / 1960's rear view mirrors were fitted and also tow hooks fitted front and rear
The engine bay was completely detailed with new rocker covers / air filter housing / inner wings painted black / new HT leads / Aeroquip Hosing / Alloy Header Tanks etc etc
Finally a racing style side exit exhaust system was hand fabricated
In all £50.000 was spent to bring her to this specification
She now performs incredibly and sounds astonishing
