A very elegant design by the renowned John Blatchley. A shape which continued in production for nearly 30 years in Drop Head form
This first series is comparatively rare in Bentley guise - only 79 produced between 1966 and 1971 in RHD
Having 1 owner until 1976 her second owner decided after 7 years to have her rebuilt at the Rolls-Royce and Bentley Factory in London where she was originally built
Everything that could be rebuilt / retrimmed / repainted / rechromed / repolished or replaced was!!!
The final bill in 1983 was over £44.000 - just about the same price as a new Mulsanne would have cost!!!
Subsequently he used her sparingly and always had her serviced and looked after by Official Bentley Dealers Weybridge Automobiles
He eventually said goodbye after over 25 years of ownership and she is now a fabulous example with only 29.000 miles covered since 1983
