A limited production car crafted at Rolls Royce's dedicated facility in Chichester, this particular model is revered among enthusiasts and Rolls-Royce's own workshop staff as the "last proper coach-built Roller." Such a designation speaks to the meticulous, hand-assembled nature of the vehicle, which is a nod to the storied coach-building traditions of Rolls Royce.
Speaking with Goodwood, they actually build a production line specifically to create the Phantom Coupe/DHC, with a dedicated assembly line & team. Likely why they are so well built.
The cars were met with critical acclaim upon release, praised for its striking balance of classic aesthetic and modern technological advancements, thus reinforcing Rolls Royce's iconic status in luxury motoring.
The example we have, a stunning Midnight Sapphire car with a parchment interior, has traveled 57,000 miles and boasts a comprehensive main dealer service history, including MOT history to assure its impeccable condition, and still part of the Rolls-Royce provenance scheme - a real testament to her upkeep.
Recently, the teak wood around the car was meticulously cared for with Teak oil by P&A Wood, who also performed the last & very recent service, ensuring that every detail remains in pristine condition. Additionally, the steering wheel has been expertly re-leathered by a renowned trimmers D Class Trimmers, using Rolls-Royce colour and leather (these trimmers are used by main dealer so are one of the best at it!).
Whilst the teak was oiled by P&A Wood, and she was serviced, the roof also underwent treatment making it like new again.
She wants for nothing. And is part of the Rolls-Royce warranty still until December this year.
A cherished car, in exemplary condition, promising an unmatched blend of luxury, history, and performance. It offers discerning buyers a rare opportunity to own a significant piece of Rolls Royce's storied legacy.
